STEM and Sensory Science Activities
At Autism Family Support, our STEM and Sensory Science Activities bring the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children in a sensory-friendly environment. This program is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and hands-on exploration in an engaging, supportive setting tailored to meet the sensory needs of autistic children and children with special needs.
What We Offer:
Interactive Experiments and Hands-On Learning: From building circuits to experimenting with bubbles and learning about simple chemical reactions, children can explore foundational STEM concepts through play.
Sensory-Friendly Play Materials: We provide textured objects, colorful gels, magnifying glasses, and building blocks that enhance sensory experiences and cater to various sensory preferences.
Guidance and Encouragement from Compassionate Staff: Our trained team fosters an inclusive and joyful environment, supporting each child’s learning journey and encouraging them to explore new ideas at their own pace.
Through these activities, we aim to develop children’s problem-solving skills, scientific understanding, and enthusiasm for learning in a way that is fun, accessible, and supportive of their unique needs.
